Erongo Talk - 05 November 2025
In today's interview segment of Erongo Talk, our spotlight is on Tutaleni Primary School, where principal Neville Visagie took on an amazing challenge — walking all the way from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay to raise funds for the school’s feeding scheme. Out of the school’s 1,800 learners, around 600 rely on that daily meal, so this walk was truly for a great cause. We’ll take you through snippets of our interviews with him — before, during, and after the walk — to see what kept him going! And sticking with Tutaleni, we’ll also chat to Anna Nashikaku, a teacher at the school, about their clothing drive and how it’s changing lives one uniform at a time. Plus, we catch up with Sharon Roodt, chairperson of the Joint Walvis Bay Residents Association, who shares the group’s mission to restore pride, accountability, and better service delivery in the harbour town.
